Winter

Wow, things have been so busy, I forgot to post! Well, I am back at school up here in chilly Minnesota and I am working on finishing this hectic semester. I officially started wearing a winter coat today and I retired my flip-flops. So, I hearby declare it winter in Minnesota.

Thanksgiving was awesome and I am so excited to finish up these last 2 weeks and get back home again for some Christmas fun. Interim will be pretty crazy so I am not too excited about that, but I will start training for the 1/2 Ironman on the 1st of the year and that should be fun as well. I really need to buy myself a Tri-Suit, which are special wetsuits worn by triathletes. They can be pretty pricey, but I really want a quality one.

On the day after thanksgiving we went to wal-mart at like 6am. We got some sweet deals but we dealt with a crazy crowd. Below is a picture of the craziness. It’s like the only picture I took this weekend so I should probably post it. It’s not even a good one. :(

I promise more interesting posts will come soon. My life has pretty much been studying and sleeping.

Hey, I am back home now. I left BU around 12:45pm yesterday and got back here around 7:40. I would have been back a little earlier but when 90 and 94 combine as one, I accidentally went west for like 15 miles. Whoops, I was distracted. I really needed to go on 90 east. That sounds really dumb, but the exit for 90 west looked identical to where 90 and 94 split a little after Madison. I saw a sign for 90, thought to myself “Hey, this ride has FLOWN by if we’re at 90 already!” and after jamming through 3 FIF songs, I realized I was heading toward LaCrosse, WI on 90W. DANG!

Anyway, I think the Children of the Noble Task are reuniting tonight and I’ll be heading to my grandma’s for thanksgiving tomorrow.

Sunday at the Library

I have “lived” here in the Roseville area for over a year now and have yet to venture to the rather large Ramsey County Public Library branch that is at Hamline and County B. I arrived here at 12:40, a little early for it’s 1:00 opening. When I walked in the door SWARMS of people were waiting to get in. I mean, like 40 people crammed into the entrance way. People say that libraries aren’t as popular anymore. I think they are wrong. This place is buzzing! It is actually really distractingly loud in here.

The President of the Minnesota Athiests’ car is in the parking lot. He doesn’t know me, but I know him. That is weird.

–I changed the theme
–added 2 new pages
–added more to the picture section

What you see now will probably be status-quo for a while.

I’ll be home in 2 days. Wahaa!
